A (slightly) pink beach

As the second place, we went to Padang Padang Beach. This beach is the shooting scene of Eat, Pray, Love movie which played by Julia Roberts.

 It has no entrance fee. You just pay for parking fee (Bike : Rp 1,000 ; Car : Rp 2,000) it's very cheap for a great view like this =D
There was no crowded here, just uhm... five to ten people were sunbathing, swimming, and surfing here. It is much more worth to visit than Dreamland beach which I think it's too over-crowded.

 To reach the beach, we have to going through a natural coral tunnel-cave. It fits one adult only to pass through so we have to wait for another people who is going up/down first.

It's my holiday!! Yeayyyy!! =D

Olivia a.k.a Abel and I were making this holiday plan since last October actually but... we had to change our itinerary 80% due to bad weather in Bali. We planned to go to Pemuteran and stay at Adhi Beach Resorts (I've already booked two rooms with sea view) but well... we decided to stay at my house. Luckily my house is in Jimbaran area, it is close to Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) and not far from Uluwatu.

For the start.. Abel, my mom and me were going to Blue Point. It is located at Suluban Beach, Uluwatu. Just one word:  lovely ♥

The blue ocean, the blue sky, my blue dress, and also the white wave. Everything is just perfect!

This was not my first time coming here but it was the first for my mom and Abel. But it never failed to make great impression to me :) If you come to Bali, you should come here and go down to the beach (if the weather is good).

Beachwalk XXI

Happy Valentine's day everyone! ♥

 I planned to stay at home whole day on valentine's day because I was off from work on val's day (I don't know what was my boss' purpose to setting me off on val-day since she knew I had no boyfriend) *sigh*

 But suddenly one-of-just-met-in-Bali-friend, Dipta, picked me at home to go to the movie, at Beachwalk. It was XXI Studio, which is newly-opened in Bali. FYI, until before this Beachwalk has a XXI studio, Bali only has two movies: Galeria 21 (at Mal Bali Galeria) and  Wisata 21. And as I know, each of these movies only have two studios and the movies which played uhm...out-of-date I think. Too bad, huh? =(

 We watched three movies non-stop ! for around five hours I think =D They are Die Hard (I think it is 6/10), M A M A (it's a horror so I give it 4/10) and Hansel & Gretel Witch Hunters (7/10) and of course, there was a lot of couple walking hand-in-hand everywhere. That didn't affect me anyway, well, ever seeing my bf (now is my ex) was walking hand in hand with other woman was the only reason I ever had sore eyes LOL

Actually we had soto ceker (it is a soup of chicken's claw) at Kuta as dinner and how I wanted to take pictures of it but forgot to bring my cam =(
I'll give it a shot next time, I promise! So, I hope you guys had a great valentine's day =D either it was with your boy/girlfriend, brothers or sisters, families, friends, as long as love spreads everywhere! ♥

This chinese new year I didn't go anywhere, because I had to go to work even for double shift (started from 7 AM 'till 10 PM) *sigh*

and this is my first time celebrate CNY in Bali =)
Different from Medan, I didn't feel any glamourous of CNY celebration here. And it was okay for me since I was working today =p

I'm sorry if I was soooooo busy to write in 2012 :( Well, I was busy with my job. It had so many changes between my college-life in 2011 and my life-as-a-pharmacist-especially-being-an-employee-with-low-salary-but-overload-responsibilities in 2012 *sigh*

I can't promise I will update my blog often as 2011 but I'll try my best!
Because I love to write everything I have, feel, experience, and plan about to do :D

Muaya Beach ♥

My bestie, Linda Sumarlie a.k.a Pi was coming to Bali and due to my overload work and very-limited-free-time-of-mine, so we decided to met up and had dinner at Jimbaran Beach. We chose Menega Café which famous for its grilled scallops. It is located within Four Season Resorts, Muaya Beach, Jimbaran. FYI, this restaurant was once a target of Bali Bombing in 2005.

For fresh seafood grilled, Menega Café is the campion. But you have to be willing to wait longer or pay more tip to the waiters to speed-up your order *sigh*
I forgot to capture our food because after a sec they served it on the table, we directly ate them all ! LOL

Don't forget to ask the waiter to mix the spices, it tastes much better than you mix it yourself =)

Dinner at Sanur Beach

Yuhuuuu ! I reported it from Sanur Beach =D

I found another great place beside Griya Santrian (as I ever posted here), it is Retro Cafe & Gallery at Jl.Danau Tamblingan, Sanur. I forgot what its name but they have a special menu for two-or-four persons includes appetizer, main course, desserts, and drinks. And for sure, it's delicious and not overpriced.
I didn't take any pictures with my camera because it was out of battery, so I just captured it using polaroid.
